About the Owner

Meet Rosie

It's not always about the numbers. Smart Accountants have hobbies too! Rosie enjoys rollerblading, playing guitar, piano, singing, hiking, biking,going to the gym and of course, spending time with her husband and amazing children.

Rosie and her brother were first generation in their family to be born in Washington State, otherwise known as the “free America” to her parents. Her family grew up in a very frugal environment. Rosie's mom only had so much money to spend on groceries every month. Hearing her constantly complain about how there was, "Never enough!," and how she wanted us to "Succeed in school," while simultaneously working hard to provide for us set Rosie on a path that she never expected; Entrepreneur and running her own accounting business.

Rosie learned early on that she was very good with numbers. She would play a game at the grocery stores by adding up the numbers that appeared on the registrar screen and see how closely she hit the mark, and whenever she was within 5 or 10 dollars, she felt satisfied. Her father encouraged her to learn times tables in first grade and Rosie even went as far as having a folded piece of paper in her pocket that she would pull out every day to study. Rosie shared this tender memory at her fathers funeral in 2011, and expressed just how deeply these rituals truly impacted her then and now by way of how she handle things everyday.

Why Rosie?

Rosie loves listening to her clients and learning about their business services/and or products. What drives them to do their business and where they want to be. She's a stickler for detail and won’t leave a penny off when it comes to checks and balances. Growing up with very little and having to learn to live with what her Family has given her, provided her an insight to the business world. Helping them understand where they are at and provide solutions with any ideas they may have in their head. If allowed, Rosie will talk to them about where they stand now, and what their goal is for their business in the future.

To "Sum" It Up...

Rosie enjoys what she does immensely because her clients are impacting other people's lives in some way. She wants to impact their life by making it less stressful financially, and by giving them the breathing room and knowledge that they need to can trust her to get things done accurately.
